Founded in the 1930s Nawrap originally manufactured mosquito nets in the Nara prefecture of Japan. Since then they have moved into the cloth and textile industry, where they have maintained a long history of quality and attention to detail. Nawrap now reaches homes in Asia, North America and Europe with their innovative line of cloths and towels.

Nawrap uses binchotan in its traditionally made towels. Binchotan is a Japanese oak charcoal that is prized for its purification properties. Binchotan also features anti microbial and anti odor properties. By infusing ultra fine binchotan into its towels, Nawrap is able to transfer these valuable properties into its products.
